10 JANUARY, 2018 – C7 Brands, the leading independent drinks company, has announced the listing of its Coco Fuzion 100 range, the UK’s first carbonated coconut water, in Sainsbury’s across the UK.

From this week, Coco Fuzion 100 will be available in Sainsbury’s supermarkets across Sainsbury’s local and supermarket formats.

With the brand already growing rapidly in Ireland, Scandinavia and Spain, Coco Fuzion 100 has added Sainsbury’s to its portfolio of listings, which already include TK Maxx, Bestway Batleys and WH Smith stores as well as over 3,500 Leisure outlets.

Coconut water is the fastest growing category in the US and UK ready-to-drink market, and global sales are set to double from $2.7bn to $5.4bn by 2020[1].

Jane O’Connor, Brand spokesperson commented on the Sainsbury’s launch: “We are hugely excited to be expanding our Coco Fuzion 100 range in the UK, working with Sainsbury’s to bring our industry-first natural alternative to fizzy drinks to the market.”

Steve Barton CEO adds: “We have a very extensive and exclusive marketing plan for Sainsbury’s to ensure consumer basket penetration.”

Coco Fuzion 100’s 250ml cans of carbonated coconut water are available in Mango, Lime, Raspberry and original flavour. Each can contains naturally occurring, highly-hydrating electrolytes, and has no added sugar or preservatives.

Also available in 330ml slim bottles that are perfect for the leisure and fitness wholesale market, Coco Fuzion 100 is naturally isotonic meaning it is absorbed by the body more quickly than water, quenching thirst and providing energy. In fact, just one 250ml can provides the same hydration as a litre of water. Coco Fuzion 100 contains five essential electrolytes that the body loses during exercise: Potassium, Sodium, Magnesium, Calcium and Chloride, providing proper cellular hydration. This offers various health benefits, including an increase in metabolism, proper muscle contraction, improved mental focus and physical performance.

Coco Fuzion 100 has also recently announced its partnership with rugby legend Chris Robshaw and boxing star Chris Eubank JR as brand ambassadors.
