Leading inline digital printing expert DataLase has appointed Adam O’Rourke and Martin Walker to help lead the expansion of the digital print business.

DataLase technology has ultra-high performance laser print capabilities, to deliver high-speed, high-resolution, on-demand digital printing. The solutions enable brand owners to digitally print products and packaging in-line, at full line speeds, realising maximum benefit from late-stage customisation.

Dr O’Rourke has become the new Programme Manager of Materials. Having worked for DataLase for the past five years, Adam has an extensive knowledge of design and development of laser reactive materials and coatings. He will be responsible for the management of internal and external R&D programmes for materials and will work closely with the CEO to drive continued innovation within the business.

With over 14 years at DataLase, Martin Walker makes the transition to Technical Services Manager. Martin will be responsible for provision of internal and external technical support, working closely with the business development team, suppliers, strategic partners and customers, to address technical enquiries, accelerate product development and ensure quality standards are implemented and maintained.

CEO of DataLase, Chris Wyres, says, “The demand for flexible marketing, which drives late stage customisation of packaging, has increased significantly. DataLase technology platforms allow brand owners to enhance marketing capability and realise maximum value.”
