The new non-contact wireless BlueTherm Infrared thermometer probe is ideal for measuring surface temperatures in a wide variety of applications, utilising mobile phones and tablet PC devices. Simply aim and press the button on the handle to transmit the temperature to your wireless device. The BlueTherm IR measures temperature over the range -49.9 to 249.9°C with a distance to target ratio of 5:1, therefore the unit should be positioned as close to the target as possible without the need of touching the surface.

Each BlueTherm IR incorporates a heavy duty ribbed, polypropylene handle with built-in red and blue LED. The flashing blue LED indicates Bluetooth® comms transfer, the red LED indicates on/off and power status.

Each probe is supplied with basic ‘App’ software. A variety of BlueTherm probes are available, visit the ETI website or contact the sales office for information on alternative styles. For software developers a free of charge SDK (software development kit) can also be provided on request. Optional accessories include a protective silicone boot.

The BlueTherm IR is competitively priced, at £115 (android – order code 179-400) or £125 (iOS – order code 179-402), each exclusive of VAT, and available direct from www.etiltd.com.
