Beer Hawk’s accredited Beer Sommelier, Maggie Cubbler’s invitation to trade buyers to attend a guided tasting through some of the world’s most beautiful bottled-conditioned beers

Maggie Cubbler, Beer Hawk’s accredited Beer Sommelier, will be hosting a tutored tasting, targeting trade buyers and consumers alike, at The Campaign for Real Ale’s ‘Great British Beer Festival’ on Thursday 11 August from 6 to 7pm.  Attendees will experience a guided tasting through some of the world’s most beautiful bottled-conditioned beers and buyers are highly recommended to attend this session as an opportunity to meet and network with industry colleagues, while discovering something new to bring to their own clients.  Six different international styles will be explored, as Maggie uncovers what makes them so unique and why they are Beer Hawk favourites.

Beer Hawk’s new trade service offers businesses the ability to access over 500 premium bottled beers from around the world, without the concerns usually created when stocking a wider inventory of beer.  Available across the UK (excluding NI) with a minimum order of just £50 (net) and the ability to pick ‘n’ mix beers with no minimum quantity of each beer bought, trade customers need not be concerned with expiry date issues or over-stocking on new or unusual beers.

Mark Roberts, co-founder of Beer Hawk, commented “We’re delighted to be sponsoring The Great British Beer Festival – it’s one of the highlights of our year.  The tutored tasting session is a great way to try new beers and understand more about their provenance.  Maggie’s role as Beer Hawk’s Sommelier is not only to help curate our range of beer, but also to provide our customers with suggestions for food and beer pairings.”

The Great British Beer Festival will be held from Tuesday 9 to Saturday 13 August at Olympia exhibition centre in London.  Tickets can be purchased at http://gbbf.org.uk/tickets

Beer Hawk co-founders Mark Roberts and Chris France as well as Maggie and other members of the team will be around throughout the festival.  To schedule an informal meeting over a pint of beer, please call the Beer Hawk’s office on 01423 525750.
