Barry Callebaut Vending UK is trading in its St Helens headquarters for premises on the outskirts of Chester. The move in May will give the leading hot beverage supplier approximately quadruple the space, which should prove useful as it forges ahead with plans to double its business over the next five years.

The company is owned by the world’s leading supplier of high quality chocolate, Barry Callebaut, and the company is investing in order to increase its capabilities and expand its market presence. The new premises will contain a significantly upgraded IT system and will also house new machinery which will allow Barry Callebaut to step up operations and improve packing capabilities of different size products including sachet as well as pillow pack products.

Managing Director Peter Holdway said: “The company is moving on to a whole new level now and so it is fitting that we bolster this period of growth and expansion with a move to bigger premises. We are already making significant inroads into the Horeca market and we expect to infiltrate a healthy proportion of the high street in the next 12 months.”
