Bob Haughton the Business Development Director for the company explains “The TrakTemp unit is a live real time tracking and temperature monitoring recording device .

The system is simply fitted directly to the fridge units temp logger and provides live data to the transport managers desk top.

The unit will provide alarms when temperatures deviate from pre-set parameters and will email or text the transport manager and/or the driver as well as highlighting the alarm event on the managers desktop”.

Currently the system is used by our temperature controlled transport customers ensuring peace of mind in the knowledge that their high value loads of food or pharmaceuticals are closely monitored and recorded, ensuring that if there is a refrigeration problem they know about it instantly.

The device will be demonstrated live on the HaulTech stand G5 together with HaulTech’s range of Transport Management Systems, TrakMan tracking and full CAN BUS Telematics products including live tacho data and remote tacho download technology.
