Food & Drink News is delighted to be teaming up with Classic Lodges to offer our readers the chance to win a luxury stay at Bagden Hall

Classic Lodges hotels is a collection of independent properties set in their own grounds, comprising eight owned properties that vary from a country house in Denby Dale, to a baronial mansion near Whitby, to a 200-year-old Victorian hotel in Harrogate.

Built by a wealthy Victorian mill owner in the 1860s, Bagden Hall in Denby Dale, West Yorkshire, is a luxurious country house hotel set in 40 acres of secluded parkland with its own lake.

The winner of this marvellous prize will enjoy a three course table d’hôte dinner from locally sourced and seasonal produce, cooked by recently promoted Head Chef, Steve Philips, before settling down for a good night’s sleep in a deluxe double or twin bedroom overlooking the grounds.

Before setting off for a stroll around the town, or a little further afield to Yorkshire’s ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ country, or the Peak District or Brontë country, a continental followed by a full cooked to order English breakfast awaits.
