The DTR (Delivery Temperature Recorder) printing thermometer has been designed specifically with the food industry in mind.  The DTR provides users with hard copy evidence of temperature and associated data of produce at the time of delivery or during storage.

The DTR printing thermometer measures temperatures over the range of -39.9 to 149.9°C with a 0.1°C resolution and a ±0.5 °C system accuracy. The DTR is housed in a robust ABS case that incorporates a Lumberg screw-locking type connector, allowing a wide range of interchangeable thermistor probes to be used.  The unit is fully portable as each DTR is powered by a efficient, rechargeable, Ni-MH battery, allowing the user to print up to 500 tickets per charge.

Utilising the DTR’s computer software, each printout/ticket can be personalised by management, with a company name, address and logo. The software is programmable to set high/low alarms for up to four different food types, i.e. chilled, frozen, hot or ambient, and “accept” or “reject” messages can be printed, if required. At the end of each day or week an audit trail, in the form of a comma separated or Excel file, can be downloaded from the DTR relating to all the tickets printed in the given period and for future analysis.

The DTR is supplied with software, a battery charger, two rolls of paper and a wall-mounting boot housed in a robust ABS carrying case. Priced at £325 plus carriage and VAT, the DTR is a competitive solution for recording the temperature of deliveries.
