Global bakery, patisserie, and chocolate ingredients supplier Puratos has appointed Vera Malhotra as Marketing Director, as a member of the board, to take control of the brand’s marketing strategy for the UK.

With more than 20 years’ experience delivering high-impact marketing on a national and international level, Vera brings a wealth of FMCG, bakery, food service and market analytics experience to the table. Having previously worked for leading international food and bakery brands including CSM Bakery Solutions, Délifrance UK and BRF Europe, Vera is well placed to take control of the strategic direction of all marketing activities across the Puratos UK business. 

Vera is a proven brand builder with a track record for delivering innovation and results. During her role at BRF Europe, her strategic direction grew the brand and market share of voice significantly within the media. While at CSM Bakery Solutions, Vera helped drive the adoption of FMCG category management across Europe and reinvented the corporate image for the UK.

In her new role, Vera will be responsible for creating and implementing the marketing strategy in line with Puratos UK’s vision. This includes the global Taste Tomorrow reportwhich is the largest bakery, patisserie and chocolate consumer surveyof its kind in the world. Vera will also take on the role of Puratos’ Sensory Ambassador and be leading the internal Sensory Expert Panel.
