Indeed, the company was delighted to be appointed by BAM Construction to work on the Bolton College project; a £90 million scheme that created three state-of-the-art college buildings in 2010. These include a 20,201m2 site that incorporates a new high-tech training restaurant and catering facilities. Vision was selected to work on the design, supply, installation and project management of all seven kitchens at the site – yet another of the company’s highly successful jobs within the education sector.

Because of the company’s growing infrastructure, Vision moved premises in October 2009 from its original site at Whitefield to a new, purpose-built facility on the Axis Point Business Park in Heywood.

Vision invest time and care into each project, no matter how big or small. An experienced project manager is appointed to each project from an early stage, working with the client to ensure the smooth running of each installation. The project manager coordinates all activities and remains in constant communication with the client and other involved parties throughout.

All equipment supplied through Vision comes with a manufacturer’s warranty. Vision also carry out regular preventative maintenance of equipment for their clients, so that downtime during peak times is minimised and always wanting to be flexible for their clients, Vision can arrange this to suit individual operations.

Upon installation, Vision also allocate a unique ID record to equipment and this is entered into a bespoke Service Management system. This allows the company to manage the warranty on the client’s behalf and build up a history of the kitchen. Only one number is needed to report any problems.
