Located a stone’s throw from the Humber, Chef Patron Colin McGurran’s Michelin-recommended Winteringham Fields has unveiled a new luxury menu showcasing a selection of both traditional and innovative dishes.

The fine dining restaurant, which has developed a reputation for serving seasonal dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, have ‘re-envisioned’ their menu to take guests on a culinary tour of classic dishes, infused with an international twist.

With a high demand of over 350 names placed on a waiting list, the new January menu is already one of Colin’s most popular to date, featuring luxurious dishes with best ingredients such as ‘Octopus consomme’, ‘Truffle linguine’  and ‘Loin of Balmoral venison’, along with more traditional favourites.

By incorporating delights, surprises and challenges, McGurran aims to let the natural flavours of ingredients speak for themselves. He comments:

“Each year, my aim is to create a seasonal menu that will both surprise and delight my guests. I always ask myself, what do I want to eat? It’s a crucial step because if I don’t like my own food, my guests certainly won’t.”

“At Winteringham Fields, you can taste my personality on a plate. This year, I find myself more confident and carefree, to the point where I just need to do what’s right for me. Hopefully that will resonate with my menu.”

“Our approach is simple: to use only the best local ingredients – whether caught fresh on the coast, grown in the earth of their own farm, or reared on the fields of nearby purveyors.”
