Fresh from winning gold and silver medals at the Rio Olympics, followed by a heroic demonstration of brotherly love at the Triathlon World Series in Mexico, Leeds-born triathletes Alistair and Jonny Brownlee last night (13 October) joined Dine for a celebratory dinner at The Mansion in Roundhay Park.

The award winning Leeds-based caterer and event management specialists put on a spectacular seasonal dinner fit for the Olympic winners with a Halloween menu of cream of Jerusalem artichoke soup served in mini pumpkins, chorizo and bean casserole served in a cauldron with smoked pork fillet, boudin noir wrapped in pancetta and roasted chestnuts. Dessert served in a witches hat with dry ice was sticky toffee pudding, orange and ginger caramel sauce and baby toffee apple with cinder toffee. Other guests drawn from the Leeds business community joined the duo.

Daniel Gill, founder of Dine said: “We were delighted to welcome Alistair and Jonny to The Mansion, our flagship venue in Leeds. The whole county has been behind the boys since the London Olympics. We are very proud to have such talented athletes born and bred right here in Leeds. We had a wonderful evening and we hope Alistair and Jonny will be back to visit us again soon.”
