Oliver Douglas and Oddy, operating divisions of the Newsmith Group, are highlighting their range of washing systems and bakery production units on stand L308 at this year’s Foodex exhibition.

In the spotlight for Oliver Douglas will be its self-contained, all stainless steel Panamatic, Rotary Jet and Trayline designs. The Panamatic washing systems have a choice of sizes and benefit from minimised water changes, alternative heating systems, economic operation and easy maintenance. Rotary Jet units are centred on high pressure recirculation wash designs for equipment such as trays, bins and containers. The Trayline series provides optimised cleaning for boxes, crates and baskets and can be installed as a stand-alone unit or as part of a larger facility.

Oddy has built its reputation in the field of ‘morning goods’ production systems. Under the Novatek brand, the organisation installs tailored lines that can incorporate dividers, moulders, proofers, finishing tables, roll panners and conveyor systems. In all cases flexibility is key, with a production capability ranging from 10 grams to 500 grams, often with one man operation.

Details of all systems from the Newsmith Group will be available on the stand – including information on the company’s links with slicing and bagging specialists, LeMatic.
