PARKSIDE SCOOPS TWO INNOVATION AWARDS

Parkside Flexibles has won two awards at Stationers’ Innovation Excellence Awards at an event in London last month (29th June).
Parkside won a Stationers’ Innovation Excellence Award but was also handed a special award for sustainability.

Parkside has been praised for its work developing two products, Park 2 Nature®, a range of accredited home compostable barrier laminate structures and LIDD®, it’s revolutionary duplex laminate lidding film, designed for the ready meal market.

Judges commended Parkside for delivering new market standards for flexo printed pack designs and its innovative yet responsible approach to manufacturing products with the environment in mind.
The Stationers Innovation Excellence Awards have been introduced to highlight companies in the Communications and Content Industries that are successfully exploiting the opportunities presented in the Digital Media Landscape. It also recognises the key role which innovation plays in survival at a time of immense change.

Thirty-two companies from the Paper, Ink, Printing, Publishing, Advertising, Marketing, Copyright Licensing and Packaging sectors entered the awards – a third more than last year.
