World-leading hygienic pump manufacturer Alfa Laval has received the Frost & Sullivan 2013 Company of the Year Award in the European pumps market for the food and beverage industry.

The global growth consulting firm has recognised Alfa Laval, a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling, for its best practices, outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as market leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development.

The Frost & Sullivan awards jury cited Alfa Laval for its all-encompassing “one-stop shop” strategy, broadening its pump portfolio to meet the hygiene, safety and energy-efficiency requirements of food and beverage applications. The jury recognized Alfa Laval for its ability to address core market challenges, while continuously improving and enhancing the company’s already extensive portfolio.
