North Wales milk processor, Tomlinson’s Dairies has recently opened a brand new production facility in Wrexham. The new 6500sq m dairy is fitted out with the latest equipment and is capable of processing 150 million litres of milk per year, supplying schools in the Wrexham, Denbighshire and Conwy area as well as 300 local outlets.

The new processing facility used Warrington based Ucrete contractor Kemtile Limited to lay the yellow Ucrete anti-slip resin flooring to the whole area with falls to Wiedeman stainless steel drains and channels. In addition to the Ucrete area there was also a 1600sqm concrete slab laid.

Both Philip and John Tomlinson are delighted with the final result. Philip employed the services of Kemtile because they had the knowledge and experience in dairy floor construction. He continued “they were very competitive, plus I have visited a number of companies that had used Kemtile in the past and they all gave a glowing reference.”

Kemtile are the longest serving Ucrete contractor in the UK and Ireland and have a wide knowledge and experience of the dairy industry, they are also the UK’s leading contractor for hygienic floors in both resin concrete and tiles for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
