This year’s PPMA Show will see the launch of a new generation of Tray Erector by end-of-line machinery specialists Endoline. Driven by recent customer demand for systems with a smaller footprint, the new Endoline 511 Tray Erector is up to 30% more compact than the company’s current tray erector – with an output speed of up to 1,800 trays per hour.

To meet restricted space constraints faced by manufacturers, Endoline’s new Tray Erector has been engineered in a vertical format, incorporating an extended hopper for simple loading of cases. Ideally suited to handle retail ready packaging applications, the Endoline 511 Tray Erector can be integrated into a completely automatic line with tray loader/shrink wrapper, for a shelf ready transit pack or it can be used as a stand-alone unit for manual tray packing.

Endoline’s MD Alan Yates explains: “Over the years we have significantly increased the capabilities of our case erectors to ensure they not only remain competitive but offer a technical edge with the inclusion of servo drives. As a result of these ongoing enhancements to our case erector range it became apparent that we needed to also rejuvenate our range of tray erectors – which we still experience a high level of demand for. As a result of the technical overhaul the existing tray erectors received from our design engineers, our new generation of tray erector is much more in line with our case erector offering.”

With the added benefit of flexibility to erect a range of tray sizes – other models within the new Tray Erector series will have the ability to erect FEFCO CF fruit and vegetable standard trays – giving the company a competitive edge when promoting the range with fruit and vegetable food producers.
