AB InBev UK has announced a major on-pack promotion to celebrate Budweiser’s sponsorship of The FA Cup, which gives consumers a chance of winning VIP FA Cup final tickets, up until 20th April 2012.

The promotion runs on six different Budweiser bottle and can packs as well as in selected on trade outlets. Consumers find unique codes on the back labels of bottles, under ring-pulls of cans and on promotional scratch cards (on trade only) then go online, register, enter the code and find out instantly whether they have won VIP FA Cup Final tickets.

As well as being able to win tickets to The FA Cup final instantly – which includes entry to the VIP Bud Club hospitality area – consumers will also have the opportunity to ‘collect to win’ a variety of rewards until 30th September 2012. These include HD 3D plasma TVs, Apple iPad 2s*,limited edition FA Cup Umbro kitbags, official FA Cup Neo by Umbro footballs and limited edition FA Cup commemorative pint glasses.

It’s a great way to create interest and excitement around the brand and gives consumers a desirable prize/reward mechanic that will drive footfall into retailers and increase rate of sale.”

The promotion is open to consumers resident in the UK, Channel Island and Isle of Man aged 18 and over. Consumers will need to visit www.budweiser.co.uk/facup to enter their promotional code to see whether they are one of the winners of FA Cup final tickets or whether they have collected the letters required to redeem the other rewards available. The closing date for promotional code entries for FA Cup Final tickets is 23:59:9 on 20 April, 2012. The closing date for promotional code entries for the collectable rewards is 23:59:9 on 30 September, 2012.
