The Aldi name has become synonymous with high quality and exceptional value and this is certainly the case with the company’s new range of Aberdeen Angus beef. The meat, now available in stores across the UK, is 100% British and Red Tractor endorsed.

The range includes a 21-day matured, 8oz sirloin steak (£3.99), a 21-day matured, 8oz rib-eye steak (£3.99), a 14-day matured, 6oz fillet steak (£4.99) and Aberdeen Angus mince (£3.59 per 500g).

Aberdeen Angus certification is an exclusive mark of quality, meaning that the meat comes from Aberdeen Angus sired cattle that are reared in natural conditions, free from the stresses of modern, intensively reared beef systems.

Aldi’s specially selected Aberdeen Angus beef range matches the quality found in the top supermarkets, yet costs up to 30% less. The meat is of an excellent standard: the steaks are tender and succulent and the lean, tasty mince is ideal for a variety of dishes from cottage pies to spaghetti Bolognese.

Since the opening of its first store in 1913, Aldi has established a strong reputation for providing customers with top-quality products and the new Aberdeen Angus beef products are an excellent addition to the supermarket’s range.
