Quality of service has earned Saica PACK the prestigious Best Supplier Award 2010 from world famous Scottish Whisky Distiller John Dewar & Sons.

The award follows other recent successes for Saica PACK, which includes the award for Best in Show at last year’s Starpack Awards, and this year being named as “Best Non-Food Supplier of the Year” at Pizza Hut’s annual Supplier Conference & Awards event.

Commenting on the award, Chris Campbell, Sales Director for Scotland at Saica PACK commented:

“Everybody at Saica PACK is delighted to have been awarded the Best Supplier Award 2010 from John Dewar & Sons for the first time. We have worked hard to cement our relationship with the company over the past twelve years and to be given this award for what is a strategic account for Saica PACK is an honour.”

Saica PACK are the main supplier of corrugated materials to John Dewar & Sons and has seen the volume it supplies to the company increase by 50% in real terms over the last financial year.

Saica PACK has been an integral part of Bacardi’s wider Rhapsody

re-branding exercise for all of its products, which has seen the company involved through every stage of the re-branding from artwork development through to supply of the finished materials.

Commenting on the reasons behind Saica PACK’s success, Chris Campbell said:

“Our dedicated Scottish-based account team lead by John Dixon, Business Development Manager, Scotland, has worked closely with John Dewar & Sons to ensure that we can meet the company’s needs whatever they are. As part of the Rhapsody project, this has meant ensuring that we maintain stocks of printed paper to meet demand, having maximum lead times of only ten days for individual components and taking a proactive approach to account management.

“This has resulted in Saica PACK being able to provide competitively priced, attractive, high-performance packaging to John Dewar & Sons which has resulted in additional sales of the Whisky.”
