Safety spectacles don’t need to look great but it certainly helps with compliance if they do. The new 3M Virtua AP Safety Spectacles boast sleek unisex styling, with the wrap-around design featuring an integral side shield for improved safety and greater protection.

Comfort and performance

Lightweight and comfortable enough for all-day wear, the new 3M Virtua AP range features outstanding functional characteristics. With a choice of clear or grey lenses, they can be used indoors or outdoors for a wide variety of industrial applications. The grey lens offers excellent protection against sun glare when used in an outdoor environment. Both products protect against high-speed particles tested at extremes of temperatures (between –5oC and +55oC), in accordance with the European Standard EN166:2001.

Certified safety

The range also features CE-approved anti-scratch optical class 1 lenses which protect against UV radiation and sun glare (grey lenses only) to the EN170:2002 and EN172:1994 standard respectively.
