Needlers Ltd, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of janitorial and personal protection (PPE) equipment to the food manufacturing industry, has developed a cost-effective, reusable ear plug for its Reldeen range of PPE equipment.

Developed to complement Needlers’ existing range of disposable ear plugs, the company’s new Reldeen reusable ear plugs are around 20% cheaper than branded alternatives and, as they can be reused for at least a week, compared to just one day for disposable ones, will save businesses approximately 40%. They will also reduce the number of used ear plugs going to landfill, saving money and helping to improve the environment.

Supplied in boxes of 50, the new ear plugs are available in a single size to suit all wearers, and in blue for good visual detection.

Having undergone extensive testing, Needlers’ new Reldeen reusable ear plugs offer a high level of protection and comfort, and are metal detectable should they fall into food products. The new reusable ear plugs are also corded to prevent loss and, after each use, can be easily cleaned and stored in a metal detectable container.
