Leading soft drinks manufacturer ICONIQ Drinks has unveiled its latest product launch, iCOCO – healthy, natural, coconut water combined with delicious fruit juices.

The trio of Cherry Vanilla, Pineapple and Minted Apple ‘bursting with flavour’ variants come in 250ml tetrapaks and are 100% natural from source, contain naturally occurring electrolytes, are high in vitamin C and fat free.

To mark the launch of iCOCO a charity partnership with COCO children’s charity has been announced and 2p from every drink sold will be donated to the international organisation.

The COCO founder and ambassador is former Olympic athlete Steve Cram MBE and the charity works with local communities in Africa to improve the lives of children living in poverty.

The partnership was officially launched at the annual charity fund raiser, a celebrity golf day, featuring none other than a special performance from Kid Creole and the Coconuts.

David Smith, ICONIQ Sales & Marketing Director said: “The fast growing ICONIQ Drinks portfolio features fabulous ranges of juices, milkshakes for kids lunchboxes, ‘on the go’ fruit smoothies and now natural coconut water for young adults wanting healthy, natural, tasty, refreshment. The increasing consumer awareness of the benefits of coconut water, extensive market research into emerging trends and an ambition to fuel growth of the next new power category has led to the development of the iCOCO brand.”

“We are delighted to be working with charity partner COCO and look forward to being able to donate a significant amount from the pack sales to help support projects for children in Africa once the iCOCO drinks hit the shelves from this summer,” said David.

The emerging coconut water market is forecast to be worth £100m within three years and there have been a number of celebrity endorsements prompting growing consumer interest.

iCOCO will be available in leading independent retailers nationally, has an RRP of 139p and will be supported by sampling and press activity.
