Daniel Harte, 32, joins Pidy as National Account Manager.

Following several years in food trade management, Mr Harte comes to Pidy from Taste Original Food Concepts and Puredrive Fine Foods where he was Key Account Manager to each.

Mr Harte’s responsibilities at Pidy will include managing the growth of retail accounts and building a Pidy brand presence within this sector.

His brief is to increase Pidy’s impact in each of the multiple groups through home baking and on-site bakery/fresh patisserie counters.

‘We will expect Daniel to build on the current ‘own label’ presence and begin introducing the Pidy brand in store,’ says Pidy’s UK General Manager, Robert Whittle. ‘We want to create a buzz in the domestic market for what is an inspiring Pidy range.’

Working closely with Pidy’s industrial partners, Daniel’s role will expand on the company’s present one-stop-shop theme in the retail, value-added sector.

The new position is part of Pidy’s plans for expansion in the UK.
